As the Supreme Court prepares to deliver its judgment on the March 18, 2023, gubernatorial election in Nasarawa state, the youth wing of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has called for justice and fair hearing.

The PDP youths who were led by their leader, Sani Mohammed, made the call during a peaceful protest in the state, where they gathered in large number, chanting slogans and waving placards with messages like “Justice for the PDP” and “Let Democracy Prevail”, among others.

Mohammed said: “We want to commend our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for not interfering in the judiciary matters, and secondly, we call on the Supreme Court Justices to do justice especially in the Nasarawa case.”

He called on people of Nasarawa State to be law abiding. “We don’t want any distraction in Nasarawa state, we don’t want any trouble in Nasarawa state. What we are looking for is our victory and by the grace of God, Ombugadu will become the Governor of Nasarawa state.
