Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, has decorated the newly promoted Chief Security Officer (CSO), Ahmed Suleiman, and Escort Commander, Ahmed Abdullahi-Nura, with the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).

The two newly promoted officers were decorated at the Government House chambers, Birnin Kebbi, on Wednesday by the governor, supported by the Commissioner of Police in the state, Bello Sani.

Speaking at the event, Governor Idris congratulated the two officers, wishing them well and best of luck in their remaining years of service.

“I am very happy with this promotion. This shows that the Nigeria Police are very conscious of hardworking officers and men in the service,” he said.

Responding on behalf of the promoted officers, DSP Ahmed Suleiman expressed appreciation for what he described as a rare opportunity to be decorated by His Excellency.

“This recognition serves as a moral booster to continue serving with dedication, integrity, and commitment for efficient service delivery.

“Your Excellency, your leadership and support for the Nigeria Police Force inspire me to strive for excellence in my duties,” he said.
