A national youth group, the Southern Youth Assembly of Nigeria (SYAN), has presented a young professional, Muhammed Moshood, with an exemplary leadership award.
The presentation was made during its 4th National Youth and Business Summit event.
Moshood, with an operational base in the United Kingdom, was lauded for his “immense contribution to the growth and development” of Nigeria’s budding technology ecosystem.
According to the non-political youth group, Moshood, in addition to his professional expertise, stood out amongst his peers for relentlessly supporting younger generations, alluding to his brilliant keynote address delivery at their youth empowerment and capacity-building event.
Honourable Ambassador Sani Ahmed Ifeoluwa, the Chairman of the youth group, noted that Moshood’s “reputation as a business professional in the digital economy makes him a great choice” for the honour.
In its eulogy, SYAN noted that Moshood’s commitment to social and economic development through his many skills is worthy of emulation.
Moshood, who holds a Distinction from a Business Analytics and Fintech postgraduate study from the University of Westminster London, has been in the digital technology space for more than five years and has led go-to-market strategy for a number of brands across banking, credit, wealth management and blockchain-backed products.
The awardee also holds two degree-level honours in media and communications.
He has held academic roles in a number of institutions, including most recently, Kent Business School, Canterbury, United Kingdom.
SYAN has members in seventeen of the thirty-six states of the Nigerian Federation, covering three out of the six geopolitical zones in the country.
