The Atjoda Hope Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting vulnerable members of society by kick-started its 2026 humanitarian outreach with a visit to Tabitha’s Humanitarian Orphanage Home in Ndai, Panyam District of Mangu Local Government Area, Plateau State.

Leading the outreach, the Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Mrs. Josephine Abbas Dayilim, described the visit as part of the foundation’s core mandate to provide succour to the less privileged, particularly orphans and widows, while also contributing to the prevention of youth involvement in drug abuse arising from destitution and neglect.

While presenting a donation package comprising food items, toiletries and exercise books to the orphanage, Mrs. Dayilim noted that the items were carefully selected to address both the immediate welfare and educational needs of the children, adding that supporting and celebrating with vulnerable children aligns with her personal values and the foundation’s humanitarian priorities.

She emphasized that even modest contributions can help restore hope and build a brighter future for disadvantaged children.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the management of Tabitha’s Humanitarian Foundation, Chief Executive Officer of the orphanage, Mr. Asabar Ali, expressed appreciation to the Atjoda Hope Foundation.

Mr Ali noted that the donated items would significantly ease the daily challenges faced by the home and enhance the educational development of the children, given the numerous needs confronting the orphanage.

The visit also highlighted the importance of sustained collaboration among humanitarian organizations, with both foundations expressing a shared commitment to partnerships that empower orphans and vulnerable families across the state.

In attendance were a member of the Board of Trustees of Atjoda Hope Foundation, Ms Martha Daspan; a representative of the Mangu Local Government traditional council, Chief Nathan Fyamang; and the Supervisory Councillor for Social Services, Mangu Local Government Area, Hon. Patience Amos. They offered words of encouragement to the children and prayed for the continued growth of the orphanage and stronger collaboration between the two foundations.

As part of the outreach, Mrs. Dayilim also sought royal blessings from the District Head of Mangu, His Royal Highness Da Moses Dawop. The royal father commended her humanitarian gesture, describing it, as the kind of selfless service society urgently needs.

He offered prayers for greater opportunities and open doors for her and the foundation, assuring that such acts of kindness would not go unrecognized and that divine reward would follow her continued commitment to humanitarian service.

The outreach marked a significant start to the foundation’s 2026 humanitarian activities, reinforcing its resolve to uplift vulnerable children and promote hope, dignity and compassion within the society.
