HubPharm Africa has launched 10 free digital screening tools to help Nigerians detect chronic health conditions early and prevent complications associated with late diagnosis.
The tools, available to users in Nigeria and in the Diaspora, cover cardiovascular disease, diabetes, mental health, fertility, HIV prevention, sleep disorders and cancer-related emergencies.
The screening suite is designed to provide an accessible first step for people who may be at risk of chronic conditions, allowing them to assess their health risks before symptoms become severe.
Its founder, Sesan Kareem, said early detection would only be meaningful if patients could access appropriate care after screening.
“Early detection only matters if it leads somewhere,” he said, adding that patients could proceed to pharmacist consultation, medical referral or medicine delivery based on their needs.
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Tope Kareem, said the initiative was aimed at removing cost and access barriers to basic health screening. “Free digital screening could help more people identify potential health risks early and seek appropriate care before conditions progressed to costly hospital admissions.”
