Nigerian businesswoman, philanthropist, and activist, Patience Mpakabori LongJohn, has urged Nigerians to embrace equity which is the theme for this year’s International Women’s Day.

According to the co-founder of the Mpakaboari LongJohn Foundation (MLJ FDN), a focus on gender equity needs to be part of every society’s DNA. 

“Equity isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a must-have. For International Women’s Day and beyond, let’s all fully #EmbraceEquity,” she stated.

“We can all truly embrace equity. It’s not just something we say. It’s not just something we write about. It’s something we need to think about, know, and embrace. It’s what we believe in, unconditionally. Equity means creating an inclusive world,” Mpaka added.

Patience Mpaka who is the co-founder of MLJ Foundation is a philanthropist, activist, and trailblazer, who has had a storied career. The Business Administration and Management graduate who is also the wife of popular Business Man Ambassador Mpakaboari LongJohn has stayed consistent in her philosophic gestures.
