Streets deserted, shops closed, heavy security in Osun

In apparent fear and apprehension, some shops were closed in Osun State as major streets were deserted on thursday while the state secretariat, Abere, was shut.

Policemen and operatives or the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), were heavily deployed tp some strategic places waiting for tge protesters.

The popular Osun Mall, Justrite, was not opened in apparent fear of being attacked as experienced during the Endsars protest.

Meanwhile, some youths have gathered at the Nelson Mandela freedom Park, Osogbo, preparing for the protest.
