Foremost businessman, Chief Obiwulu Divine Obiora understands the perfect mix of working hard as well as playing hard. As an astute entrepreneur, the Chairman, Vine Morris Group prioritises both professional success and personal enjoyment. Obiora works hard to make money and as a tremendously wealthy figure, he never blinks when spending it. After all, money is meant to be spent. This real estate tycoon, known for having an eye for luxury, extended this to his parties. This he displayed recently when he celebrated his 50th birthday.
For months, the Ozubulu, Anambra State-born mogul had started a countdown to the very beautiful day he would join the golden club and when the day came, Obiora pulled out all the stops to throw an exclusive 50th birthday soirée at the prestigious Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotels, Lagos.
With his beautiful wife, Chiamaka, by his side as co-host, the affable magnate —fondly called Agbalanze Okwuoma Kpolu Ozubulu (Deity that speaks good and does good work in Ozobulu) — showcased their true sense of hospitality and were indeed perfect hosts at the shindig. The hall was filled to capacity with the crème of the Lagos and South Eastern social establishment, including family members, associates and close friends in attendance at the golden celebration dinner. Everybody had a taste of their unique hospitality. The drinks flowed endlessly with a menu that was both delicious and elegant. It was such an unforgettable moment.
As a prelude to his sophisticated birthday soiree, Obiora had earlier showcased his creative talent when he unveiled his new book titled ‘Entrepreneurial Mindset’ at a special launch event on February 7 at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos. The celebrant, at the party, re-introduced the book which he described as a must-read for established and budding entrepreneurs to think, sharpen and build their enterprising mindset, skills before venturing into businesses.
