Nigeria’s Sand Eagles will slug it out with west African rivals Ghana in Group A of the final tournament of the second edition of the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.
The competition is fixed for the 13th-18th December 2016 in Lagos.
2015 Copa Lagos champions Cote d’Ivoire and Egypt complete Group A whilst holders Madagascar, Libya, Morocco and Senegal will battle it out in Group B.
The draw was conducted on Saturday, 24 September 2016 at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, by CAF General Secretary Hicham El Amrani assisted by Ahmad, president of the CAF Organising Committee for Beach Soccer and Futsal.
The finalists will qualify to represent the continent at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Bahamas in 2017.
Group A – Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire
Group B – Madagascar, Libya, Morocco, Senegal
