Real estate moguls and Chief Executive Officer, Levitikal Group, Samuel Ajose, and CEO, Homadil Realty Limited, Dr. Rebecca Omokamo Godwin-Isaac, have hailed The Sun Awards, describing it as a major source of encouragement for industry leaders to continue to thrive in the real estate sector of the Nigerian economy.

Ajose and Godwin-Isaac are among eminent Nigerian who will be honoured at The Sun Awards ceremony on Friday, November 13, 2026, at the Expo Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos from 7pm.
They spoke separately while accepting their nominations when the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of The Sun Publishing Limited, Onuoha Ukeh led a management team made up of Iheanacho Nwosu, Editor, Daily, Chidi Nnadi, Senior Manager, Marketing, Operations & Publications; Adetutu Folasade-Koyi, Editor, Nation’s Capital & North; Tony Manuaka, Associate Editor and Oge Orizu, Assistant Business Manager, to present letters confirming their emergence as Real Estate Icons for the 2026 edition of The Sun Awards.
While thanking the management of The Sun Publishing Limited and the Board of Editors for choosing him for the award, on the basis of the innovations he has introduced in the real estate business, Ajose expressed delight that his nomination was not influenced in any way.
He said: “This is something that is very rare; it’s not something that comes easily, and it’s not something you buy with money. Just as you observed, we are doing a whole lot in the real estate sector.
“What we are trying to do as part of our vision is to take real estate into hospitality. We don’t want to say ‘come and build a bungalow, or come and rent a short-let,’ but we are taking it into hospitality by getting people to invest.”
Ajose stated: “Imagine that you own a room at Eko Hotels for instance, and the revenue that comes from that room belongs to you. These are some of the innovations we are bringing in and people are excited about it.
“To the entire team of The Sun newspapers, we say a big thank you. Continue to live up to that expectation.”
While outlining the reasons Ajose was chosen, earlier, The Sun MD said his success story continues to inspire aspiring investors and professionals who see in him a model of what can be achieved through hard work, discipline and strategic thinking.
He noted: “You have established yourself as one of the strong forces in Nigeria’s real estate and construction sector through a combination of vision, innovation and execution. The mileage you have above your peers is your understanding that real estate is more than just putting up buildings.
“As the Chief Executive Officer of Levitikal Group, you have led the development of projects that are helping to redefine urban living and commercial real estate development in Nigeria. Under your leadership, Levitikal Group has pursued developments designed to create thriving communities, enhance property values and improve the overall quality of life for residents.”

The Dun MD also noted that Ajose’s company’s iconic portfolio includes projects such as Prime Meridian, Maryam Courts, Meridian Tower, 16 Glover, Trinity and The Prime.
“These projects have not only showcased Levitikal’s commitment to quality construction, modern architecture and sustainable urban development, but have also distinguished you as a notable real estate practitioner. Through these projects, you have contributed to addressing housing and commercial infrastructure needs of the country while creating value.”
