A New Jersey born Nigerian musician, Dean Kelechi Nwokocha, has shocked his increasing audience that he would only choose who collaborate with based on the other musician vibes. The singer-songwriter, composer and beat maker who is popularly known as ‘DeanKelly’ also added that such vibes need to rhyme with his game at that time.

“My name is DeanKelly, No space between each! I don’t have an ideal musician to collaborate with, it all about the vibe if we vibe right then we can make a good record, same goes for my music influences. I probably won’t list all of them but here it goes; Wizkid , T-pain, Wande coal, Jay z , Ed Sheeran, Adele etc., each one of them have their vibes, style and techniques in singing and composition and that’s why I admire them”, he disclosed.

Talking about music, DeanKelly said, “I wrote my first song in high school can’t really remember the year exactly. I think I was 14 at the time , my first official release was 2016 and shortly started playing shows after that. The day I saw someone cry after listening to a song, I was surprised as to how can words and melodies do that. I want my music to be able to do that, to touch people in ways that make them feel connected to me, my voice and my melody”, he concludes.

Now, fans are thrilled to be gifted with DeanKelly’s debut full-length EP titled The MissTape EP. The momentum from “Ginika” and a handful of releases ensured that his debut albumThe MissTape EP, released in May 2018 was an immense success. DeanKelly melodiously, but with guided precision in  the self-produced/self-written project expresses his unflappable appreciation for a love interest across the 6-track album.
