Ghana Immigration Service has arrested 93 Nigerians over alleged involvement in internet fraud and violation of immigration laws.
The service also rescued 73 other Nigerians allegedly subjected to torture and abuse.
GIS Head of Public Affairs, Maud Anima Quainoo made the announcement in a Tuesday statement.
He said the mass arrests followed coordinated operations in six houses at the DEVTRACO Estate in Accra, which targeted a network involved in internet fraud and unlawful detention of individuals.
Among those arrested were 91 men and two women facing charges related to cybercrime and immigration violations.
The 73 rescued victims have been repatriated to Nigeria.

Deputy Superintendent of Immigration Newman Akuffo, who led the operation under the GIS National Operations Unit, said officers recovered a substantial quantity of items, including 82 laptops, 57 mobile phones, 17 television sets, counterfeit US dollars, and fake gold bars believed to have been used in fraudulent schemes.
Preliminary investigations revealed that several suspects had entered Ghana through unauthorised border routes, while others overstayed their 90-day visa-free entry granted to Nigerians.
The immigration service urged foreign nationals living in Ghana to strictly comply with the country’s immigration and criminal laws.
This latest operation is part of an ongoing crackdown on cybercrime.
In January, the Ghana Police Service arrested 53 Nigerians involved in similar activities and rescued 44 suspected victims of forced labour.
Another raid in December last year saw the arrest of 78 Nigerians linked to cybercrime networks.
