The Chairman of Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Osborn Nweze Umahi, has asked the 11 wards in the council area to submit five priority projects each.
Umahi made the request at an expanded stakeholders’ meeting in Ohaozara on Friday.
He said the proposals should be submitted through the respective ward councillors for consideration by the council.
The request could result in a total of 55 proposed projects from the 11 wards.
Umahi said, “People are very happy and I have introduced a new style of leadership.”
The council chairman did not state which of the proposed projects would be selected, the available funding or when implementation would begin.
