Fast rising Nollywood actor, Enitan Oluwole, has disclosed that he has been receiving accolades from fans for his scintillating role in a new movie titled, ‘Gloria Must Go’ showing on EtinosaTV channel on YouTube. Etinosa Idemudia handled the production.
While speaking on how he felt acting alongside big names, the Lagos-born emerging actor said it felt ‘eally amazing acting alongside a big and well known actress like Etinosa.
“She gave me more visibility and I am grateful for that. I am inspired by how she handles her craft and the result is obvious in how her movies turn out. People have different ways of expressing themselves so it might not be pleasant or nice to you but I’ve learned to take the corrections and move on. It’s all for the success of the project,” he said.
On challenges faced in the industry, the banker-turned-actor noted that he faced a couple of challenges such as adapting to the demanding work hours, noting that since he crossed over from the banking sector, he has been able to adjust perfectly to the demands of the movie industry.
Commenting on the synopsis of the movie, Enitan said: “Gloria Must Go is an amazing project that talks about some of the challenges young couples face in this modern age, what transpires when the husband or wife decides to bring in an older in-law into the home at the early stage of the marriage. This can be positive or negative but this movie sheds more light on the possible problems one gets to encounter.”
He said some fans like the character he played in the movie because “it’s quite challenging as a husband who loves his wife dearly and also loves his elder sister. It’s like being caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.”
The talented actor who sees acting as a dream come true said he is not relenting as he emulates top names in the industry.
“As a rising star, I’m inspired by true life events, past experiences and the ability to create a story out of it because I like to see myself as a natural and gifted storyteller. It is like to reference the works of veterans like Olu Jacobs, Majid Micheal, Ramsey Noah, Wale Ojo and also a woman who has held it down for years, in person of Funke Akindele. Acting is something I’ve always wanted to do, so it’s just a dream come true. Well, they both showed concern at first but at the same time just wished me the very best. I look up to the likes of Jack Nicholson, Alex Baldwin and Wale Ojo.
