Osun protest
From Lateef Dada, Osogbo
Protesters against bad governance again stormed Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, in continuation of the 10-day protest.
The protesters barricaded Olaiya junction after taking off from the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park.
They carried placards of various inscriptions among which is the call for the prosecution of subsidy thieves.
The protesters warned hoodlums with bad intentions to stay away as they vowed to deal with whoever tried to invade people’s properties by themselves.
They were heavily monitored by security operatives including policemen and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC).
They chanted anti-government songs calling Nigeria leaders thieves.
