Family of Chief Edward Olasehinde Phillips, Ba’mole of Lagos, has announced his death on June 10 in Lagos, after a brief illness at 79.
Phillips retired as principal insurance manager at the defunct National Electric Power Authority. He was also a past president of Yoruba Tennis Club and past president of Catholic Friendly Society.
Funeral arrangements would be announced by the family later.
