President Muhammadu Buhari and former president Olusegun Obasanjo met behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa, yesterday.
Obasanjo arrived the Presidential Villa at 2.20pm and went straight into the president’s office.
This will be Obasanjo’s fifth visit to Aso Rock to confer with president Buhari.
He was escorted to his car by personal aides, the Presidential Liaison Officer and some security personnel from the Buhari’s office.
Details of the meeting were not known as Obasanjo refused to speak with newsmen.
Obasanjo was guest of honour at the Friedrich Ebert Stifung (FES) Abuja policy debate on “Towards the future: Economic change and labour in Nigeria.”
