Founder/General Overseer, World Evangelism Bible Church Inc (WEBIC), Prophet Samson Ayorinde, has opened up on his recent trip to the United States, where he spent about two weeks this month. He was invited by some ministers of God to preach the word of God and lay hands on some pastors, bishops and evangelists, among others. The ministers are expected to attend a crusade scheduled to hold in Ilorin, Kwara State capital in November, 2024
Said he: “For three days (December 1st to 3rd), I led a crusade in about six US cities such as New York, Baltimore, Bolton, Maryland and Atlanta. The event was used to round off activities for the year 2023. It had the theme: ‘Finishing Strong.’ “
He was assisted in the mini- crusade by Bishop Gabe Ezeobele, the host, and Bishop Sola Oke.
Apart from evangelism during the trip, what else did he do? He said: “My trip to the US was also to meet my foreign partners to fine-tune efforts to boost the Nigerian economy through Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).The investors plan to bring in billions of dollars to fix critical infrastructure that would boost the economy. We intend to meet top Federal Government officials to achieve the target.
“The poor state of the economy is affecting churches in meeting their obligations. So, it’s a win-win situation for the government and the citizens,” Ayorinde said.
Asked if his church was still planning programmes to execute to round off the year, Ayorinde said his wife and co-Founder, Prophetess Mercy Ayorinde, organised a three-day prayer meeting with widows from within and outside the church .He said at the end of the meeting, participants were given a number of free items.
According to Ayorinde, many branches organised projects such as Special Ask Prayer programme called ‘Share A Smile 2.’ The Alapere branch Pastor, Oluwadamilare Babatunde shared some palliatives to the needy in the auditorium.
“It was awesome, as many people, including members of the church and people in the community, turned up,” he noted.
Ayorinde said the last day of this year, the December 31st, will feature the Crossover Night.
He said WEBIC will dedicate the night to praying fervently for President Bola Tinubu’s government for divine guidance in 2024.
“We will pray God’s intervention and make the coming New Year a prosperous one for all Nigerians,” Dr Ayorinde stated.
