Five youths have been selected to represent the South West region in the maiden edition of The Xtreme Search reality television show.

The selection process took place at Ijegun Football Field in Lagos State, following an intense competition that showcased the contestants’ intelligence, fitness, and social skills.

President and Founder of The Xtreme Search, Evangelist Abuoma Chuka, described the show as a Christian-based reality programme designed to promote godliness, good morals, and cultural adventure.

According to him, the competition seeks to highlight the intelligence and smartness of Nigerian youths while encouraging them to embrace positive values. The show is sponsored by The Psalmist Missionary Global Outreach Incorporated.

“Nigeria is blessed with abundant human resources, and our youths are exceptionally smart,” Abuoma stated. “Our goal is to bring them back to God, reward them financially, and make them celebrities.”

The winner of the show will walk away with ₦50 million and a brand-new car, while the 19 other contestants will receive consolation prizes.

The organisers will also extend auditions to other regions of the country, where five contestants will be selected.

The show, which will take place in Cross River State, will feature contestants from various regions who emerged successful in the auditions.

Princess Okechukwu, the South-South Coordinator, explained that the selection process focused on evaluating contestants’ physical fitness, social skills, and willingness to participate. “We are committed to finding the best of the best,” she said.
