Cape Verde goalkeeper, Vozinha has revealed the message Lionel Messi gave him after Argentina’s hard-fought 3-2 Round of 32 win over the Blue Sharks in the ongoing World Cup.
The 40-year-old goalie was at his best, making eight saves, as Cape Verde held the defending champions to a 1-1 draw in regulation time, after a 29th-minute opener from Messi.
Lisandro Martínez put Argentina ahead again two minutes into extra time before Sidny Lopes Cabral restored parity in the 103rd minute.
However, defender Diney broke Cape Verdean hearts with an own goal in the 111th minute.
