A Senior Technical Program Manager, Excel Chukwurah who is breaking new boundaries in the Project Management space, facilitating regular retrospectives, while managing and driving team’s objective and key results, speaks on taking the project management space with his extraordinary skills. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Covenant University, and a Master’s Degree Holder in Programs and Project Management from the acclaimed University of Michigan.
Chukwurah has helped to oversee the planning, tracking, initiating and execution of various program with high inter-team dependencies in several roles. His extraordinary work has seen him build solutions that have helped to fully integrate data protection capabilities into system infrastructure in alignment with data protection standards using Agile methodologies.
Chukwurah is a proven leader, having helped to set up programs and team charters, that have realized scalable improvements in capacity building and tracking. The core of Chukwurah’s milestones in the Project Management space have seen him manage the development and implementation of Scalable policy enforcement capabilities to ensure adherence with government policies and requirement. According to him, “In my role as a Technical Program Manager with Google LLC, I helped to deliver critical data protection projects that help to enforce and verify various data policies. “I Coordinated over 15 engineers from multiple offices across the globe, to build solutions that integrate data protection capabilities into all Google’s infrastructure in alignment with the data protection standard using Agile methodologies.” He has continued to provide professional technical support to stakeholders and educate them on ways to properly use modern day tools and software.
Chukwurah coordinate with senior project managers to present timely and detailed updates on status of different projects to stakeholders using the most effective presentation tools. “I have also served in a capacity as a Software Engineer, where I have helped to gather requirements from project stakeholders, resulting in a well-defined project objective. I also helped to develop project documentations, a charter, and Implementing projects from development through production.
I operate directly with designers to understand and gather product requirements and perform extensive user experience research,” he added. Chukwurah is a Certified Management Consultant, and Associate in Project Management, and has been recognized for his exceptional service delivery and creative problem-solving techniques.
He was recognized with the 2022 African Voice Magazine Award for his outstanding professionalism, integrity, industry, assiduity, visionary leadership, ingenuity, and his significant contributions to information technology, the 2023 Annual Elitist Magazine Distinguished Leadership Award for being the Most Innovative Technical Program Manager of The Year, and recognized by Google LLC, for building infrastructure critical to the delivery of the Digital Marketing Act, amongst several others.
