President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared that his administration will not relent in tackling insecurity across the country, insisting that restoring peace and stability remains a top priority of the Federal Government.
Tinubu made the statement on Sunday in Abuja while delivering his acceptance speech after emerging as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 election.
Speaking on the country’s security challenges, the president acknowledged that insecurity was still affecting several parts of Nigeria but assured citizens that his government was intensifying efforts to protect lives and property.
“We will not rest until we restore peace and stability to every corner of our country,” Tinubu said.
He added that his administration had strengthened investments in intelligence gathering, surveillance systems, modern security equipment, and support for the armed forces and police.
