The remains of veteran juju musician, Prince Peter Seido Francis Awuji popularly known as Emperor Pick Peters, will be laid to rest today, Friday November 17, 2023.
Pick Peters, who hailed from Gbekon Araromi Onfo in Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State, died on November 2 after a brief illness. He was aged 74.
Speaking after a meeting held last Saturday, his first son, Jerome Francis said going by his father’s wish, he will be buried at his residence located at 1, Oluyemi Odukoya Street, Ayobo, Ipaja, Lagos.
According to Jerome, Pick Peters’ final journey began yesterday, November 16 with a Christian Wake at his residence. This was followed by an All-Night Artiste event at DG Events Centre, Odukoya Street, Stan Kekere, Ayobo, Lagos.
Today, November 17, the remains of the late musician will be buried at his residence in Ayobo, Lagos.
