Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III  has blasted state chiefs executives for what he called ‘unwanted bogus projects’ they always embark upon without recourse to those projects that will benefit the masses.

The Sultan spoke, on Wednesday, in his goodwill message at the ongoing Kaduna Investment Summit (KADINVEST), in Kaduna.

The Sultan argued that some of the political leaders in Nigeria were always busy embarking on projects that has little or no bearing on the electorate that voted them into office.

According to him, “It is unfortunate that some of our political leaders embark on projects that have little or no direct bearing on the masses. Some of them build airports only to park their private jets, whereas our roads are not motorable.

“When we advise our leaders, we do so with the fear of Allah in us and we expect that they will take to these advise,” he said.
