Following the extreme hardship caused by the removal of Fuel subsidy by the Federal government, the Senator representing Taraba North Alhaji Shuaibu Lau has flagged off the distribution of food items to Persons Living With Disabilities, pensioners and other constituents in his senatorial district.

This is in continuation of palliative distribution to vulnerable people and Pensioners across the six local government areas of his constituency, Taraba North

The Senator who was represented by Hon. Gidado Aminu yesterday presented palliative packs to people living with disability and pensioners at the Senator’s Constituency Office in Jalingo, said the gesture was aimed at cushioning the effects of fuel subsidy removal in the country.

Receiving the items, the representative of the pensioners and people living with disabilities express their gratitude to Senator Shuaibu Isa Lau and also appreciates his kind of leadership that carried everyone along, regardless of religion, tribe or political affiliations.

They also prayed for Sen. Shuaibu Isa Lau success and Allah guide in governing the affairs of Taraba North, urged other political office holders to emulate the senator by reaching out to people like them in other to give them sense of belonging

The SSA on Constituency Matter to the Senator Hon. Gidado Aminu also hand over food packs to the representatives of YORRO, JALINGO, KARIM-LAMIDO & ARDO-KOLA Local Government Areas for onward distribution in their respective Local Government on behalf of the Senator.

Gidado explained that the Senator intervention is a means to support his constituents as well as compliment the efforts of the Federal and State governments in easing the challenges being faced at this trying time.
