Several students of the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, on Tuesday, fainted and sustained injuries while struggling to secure seats for a lecture.
Some of the videos sent to our correspondent showed many struggling to gain entrance into a lecture hall on Tuesday morning.
In the process of the struggle, many female students passed out and colleagues had to rush them out of the hall.
A particular female lay on the ground motionless and was not responding to fanning by her colleagues
The incident is the second under the current LASU administration and took place at the Master of Business Administration (MBA) lecture hall opposite the Faculty of Science.
The students numbering over 500 in the videos struggled to gain entrance and pushed each other leading to some fainting.
Many of the students after gaining entrance into the lecture hall, were seen fanning themselves inside the overcrowded hall.
Our Correspondent forwarded some of the videos to the Vice Chancellor of LASU, Prof. Olatunji Bello, and did not respond to Daily Sun’s inquiry about the incident.
The acting image maker of LASU, Thomas Onashile, received the videos but refused to comment on the incident.
