King Charles III has stripped his brother Prince Andrew of his royal titles, evicting him from his residence on the Windsor estate over the latter’s alleged involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
The development was made in an announcement by Buckingham Palace, where it was also revealed that Charles had begun the formal process to remove all his brother’s titles.
“Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
“These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.
“Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse,” the palace stated.
Andrew has been instructed to move “to alternative private accommodation” as soon as possible.

Virginia Giuffre, one of Jeffrey Epstein’s main accusers, alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Andrew, 65, which he denied.
In the posthumous publication of Giuffre’s memoir, she provides shocking details of how she was trafficked to have sex with Andrew three times, including twice when she was only 17.
Despite Andrew’s denial, the allegation was met with public outrage, and the latest reports indicate that he did not oppose the King’s decision.
41-year-old Giuffre reportedly committed suicide in April, six years after Epstein’s demise in 2019 in prison while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.
Epstein also reportedly took his own life.
