Recently,  Ezinifite  Town Union (ETU) Lagos branch unveiled  ultra modern  hall in Signboard, area of Lagos State under the chairmanship of Ichie Adimmonyenma Ezereadi, Ezeorjika, former  PG Alaba International market,  Ojo Lagos.

The event was well attended  by people from all walks of life and includes the traditional  ruler of  Ezinifite, HRH Igwe SAC Obika, Igwe Eze11 of Ezinifite (Obodo Oma Kingdom.),Newi South Anambra State,Nze Marcel Okezue (Okpara Ugonnaya(PG, EDAN) Barr Chukwudi Ezechiefo(Onowu, Ezinifite), Chief  Felix  Odimegwu,  Hon Commissioner for Environment, who represented  Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

That day proved to be a day of joy as men, women, and youths of varlour who have distinguished  themselves  in service to Ezinifite  people and to humanity  were singled out and honoured with  awards of Excellence.

Hilighlight of the event  was cutting  of the ribbon  to unveil the town hall by Igwe of Ezinifite, HRH  Igwe  Obika to the admiration of the happy crowd of Ezinifite  people who  responded with loud voice of Igweeee.

In his welcome  address, the Chief Host and Chairman of ETU, Lagos branch,  Chief Ifeanyi  Patrick described  the event  as a dream come  true. “I thanked God today that this  hall is being dedicated  after years of hard work  and contributions  by members.

In his own part, President General ETU, Engr  Geoffrey  Onuchukwu  thanked members for their support  in the accomplishments of the project. He recalled  that for years,  the premises  were a marshy and swampy land, but today it has been turned  to a beautiful  hall to the glory of God.

While commending  Ezinifite  people  for love that exists among them, HRH Igwe Obika urges them to remain  united  so that they would  attain a greater height.

Chairman, planning  committee, Mr Eugene  Ikeagum thanked the attendees while praying  for   journey  mercy  as they departed for their homes.
