In the face of mounting challenges that have left many Nigerians feeling hopeless and dejected, the General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries (TLCCM), Pastor Lazarus Muoka, brought a message of hope during the recently concluded two-day ‘Hope for the Needy’ programme.
Addressing the audience, Pastor Muoka emphasised that despite the bleak outlook and human efforts often failing, there is always hope through God.
“There is hope for everyone. The future may seem uncertain, and human efforts may fall short, but with God, all things are possible. If you have tried everything since the beginning of the year and it seems there is no way out, I want you to know that God has a plan to deliver you from your situation.”
Muoka’s message addressed various personal struggles, including financial hardship, delayed marriages, infertility, academic difficulties, career stagnation, and health issues. He encouraged attendees not to lose faith, asserting that God never disappointed those who put their trust in Him.

A key part of his sermon focused on the principle of giving as a path to prosperity. “The secret to wealth is sowing and reaping. If you are a giver in the house of God, you will never lack. Even in difficult times, giving opens the door to blessings. If you keep to the law of giving, you will not escape God’s favour,” he said.
The programme was marked by numerous testimonies of divine intervention. One of the most remarkable stories came from Chimezie Onyedubum, a young man from Imo State, who had been blind for 35 years. He shared his extraordinary experience of receiving his sight during the event.
“In my life, I have never seen the world or known how colours look,” Onyedubum said. “Today, God healed me, and for the first time, I can see. When I was coming to church, I prayed, ‘God, give me what I want,’ and He did it.” His testimony resonated deeply with the congregation, reinforcing the theme of hope and God’s power to transform lives.
Pastor Muoka concluded the programme by encouraging attendees to remain steadfast in their faith and to continue seeking God’s intervention in all areas of their lives. He reminded them that no matter how dire their circumstances, hope remains accessible through a relationship with God.
The ‘Hope for the Needy’ event not only provided spiritual encouragement but also underscored the importance of faith, generosity, and perseverance. It served as a powerful reminder that even in the most challenging times, divine hope can bring about miraculous change.
