The Brotherhood of Cross and Star, (BCS), led by His Holiness, Olumba Olumba Obu has warned Nigerian leaders against endemic corruption and politicisation of poverty saying that the wrath of God would soon visit such leaders.
The brotherhood made this known during a press conference to announce the universal celebration of the Divine Assurance of the Christhood event scheduled to hold from March 25 to April in Calabar, Cross River State.
The Spokesman of the brotherhood, Amah Williams said that His Holiness, Olumba Olumba Obu, prophesied that Nigeria was the physical dwelling place of God and a nation after God’s heart where evil men will face dire consequences unless they retrace their steps.
He said: “Nigeria is the physical abode of God and a nation after God’s heart. Therefore all those fanning the embers of disunity, violence and those who perpetrate corruption should know that the wrath of God shall soon come upon them.
“The tears and sufferings of ordinary citizens have risen to the Throne of God and no more shall God allow thieves and robbers to swindle the collective wealth of this nation with impunity. Many things shall happen not just in Nigeria but in the entire world as the era of those who perpetrate wickedness has come to an end.”
He disclosed that the future holds better things for Nigeria and the entire world if only they will trust in God for salvation.
According to Williams, “the event with the theme, Faithful is our God, will kick off on Monday 25, 2024 at the BCS World Headquarters in Calabar, followed by global evangelism on Tuesday, March 26, while on Wednesday, March 27, there will be intensive extraordinary humanitarian works that would take them to various places.
“On March 30, there will be choral performance in order of states and nations with heavenly songs and on 31st, will be the grand finale at Eugene Esuene, Stadium, Calabar where a Divine Assurance by the elect of God will march from 34 Ambo Street to the Stadium.
“There also, 10,000 choristers will render celestial melodies of adoration to God. On April 1, there would be Divine Service and out-pouring of the Holy Spirit on all creations of God.”
