Every bride deserves an aesthetically appealing bridal glam, one that cuts through every intricate detail of style, glamour and beauty.
This show of excitement envelops an encompassing bridal outfit that complements the bride’s look and the wedding theme.
Every specification matters: from the bride’s makeup to her shoes and other accessories, they all work to elevate the centre of a customized style, which is her wedding gown.

Talking about wedding dresses, Icedotcom is all out to give brides creative pieces of artistry in its latest Olanma Collection. Olanma is an Igbo word meaning ‘Beautiful Pearl’, and this is exactly what Icedotcom’s Head of Design decided to achieve with this year’s brides – transform them on their big days and contribute to moments that will give them beautiful memories for years to come.
The Olanma Collection was unveiled at a mini bridal fashion show held on September 28, 2023. It was a great way for Icedotcom to open its innovative account for the year.
The event had a controlled guest list that featured fashion enthusiasts, wedding planners and industry icons from the east. They all attested to the splendid work of the designer, Frederick Chukwuemeka Izuchukwu Onwuzuruoha.
Aside describing the various gowns on display as exotic, creative and classy, the attendees also applauded Frederick’s design proficiency and product development strategy.
Frederick has always been committed to making brides beautiful through his versatile designs. He has been responsible for so many collections and his rich Igbo heritage, which makes him to have deep respect for his culture cannot be downplayed, as this is often reflected in his styles. For this collection, he featured two categories of style: white and traditional wedding.
The Olanma Collection has some of the dresses fitted with pearl-like beads and opal stones. The fabrics used for the white wedding dresses are Chiffon, Tulle, Silk, Georgette, Lace, Satin, and Organza. The traditional dresses are made of Akwete, George and Isi-Agu to mention a few. The colours are also in various shades and types.
According to the designer, the collection will be sold as a set to the bride, which means that the traditional, white wedding and after-party outfits would be sold together.
He explained further: “Whenever brides must prepare for their special day, a lot of them get so busy with the preparations that they do not have time to properly describe what they want. However, every bridal fashion designer is aware that comfort, practicality, affordability and even elegance are non-negotiable for brides, hence the idea behind the Olanma Collection. It is created to help the bride have one less thing to worry about.”
It appears Frederick had channeled his visual and technical ability into creating this masterpiece, as guests thoroughly enjoyed seeing the spectacular dresses.
