Ogunbote: Shooting won’t go down

RETURNEE 3SC manager, Gbenga Oguntobe has assured fans of the club that the club will finish well this term.

Ogunbote who spoke after the club’s 3-0 bashing of Akwa United last weekend said just like last season he will succeed in bailing out the club.

“I thank God for giving me victory in my first game in charge after coming back to the team. I can assure the fans that we will do well. There is nothing to worry aabout,” Ogunbote said.

The club’s team manager, Rasheed Balogun after the game thumbed up the players for putting up a good fight.

“I least expected we will get a result in this game. We couldn’t register new players because LMC stopped us from doing so. We played this game with only four reserve players and most of the players were played out of position. I am happy the boys came out fighting and won. They deserve commendation,” Balogun said.

3SC was however not able to sustain the momentum with which she started the second stanza away in Makurdi midweek as she fell 3-1 to Lobi.
