The judgment, delivered by Hon. Justice A.J. Adeyemi of the Federal High Court in Abeokuta, which dismissed a legal challenge (Case No. FHC/AB/CS/124/2024) against the party’s processes.
This is even as the Ogun State PDP Chairman, Chief Rotn.(Hon.) Abayomi Tella while answering questions from the press in Abeokuta on Monday, 27th January, 2025 immediately after the Federal High Court’s judgement which dismissed the case filed by Ogundele, Jimi Lawal, and Akinlade against the PDP Ogun State challenging the Ward Congresses in Ogun State, described the judgement as victory for members of the party in the state as it would further unites them.
During the media parley, Chief Tella expressed gratitude to Justice Adeyemi for upholding principles of internal democracy and reinforcing party administration standards.
The ruling, according to him, confirmed the judiciary’s commitment to fairness and legality in political governance.
Chief Tella expressed confidence that the court victory marks a critical moment in its journey towards reclaiming political leadership in the state, calling on supporters to celebrate the collective achievement.
