In the spirit of Yuletide, the holy land of Imeko, Ogun State is currently bustling with activities.

From December 19, people from all walks of life have been converging on Imeko, which is considered a sacred place by Celestial members who believe that it is where they can connect with God and receive spiritual blessings.

Known for its large open-air auditorium, the Imeko Holy Land plays host to the church’s annual conventions and other religious activities including sermon, prayer, music and dance, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere.

In addition to its religious significance, however, Imeko Holy Land is a place where the church’s traditions and customs are preserved and celebrated, providing a sense of identity and community for its members. Indeed, in the last 10 years, the average number of pilgrims to the land hovered around a million.

This year’s pilgrimage, which holds over a 7-day period, will end on December 26, 2023.
