Love, laughter, drama in Hello Mr Right

StarTimes’ dating reality show, Hello Mr Right had its maiden episode aired recently filled with love, excitement and drama.

Anchored by Kiekie and Bolanle Ninalowo, the show, which premiered on June 10, features 12 single ladies and three single guys looking for their perfect matches, and a chance to win over N20 million worth of prizes.

Teasing her audience, Kiekie said: “Let me tell you why the money part is important. A wise man once said that love is sweet, but when money comes in, love becomes sweeter.”

On the show, the female contestants experience love at first sight, as they meet different guys who try to impress them. However, not all matches are mutual, as some guys are rejected by their chosen ladies or vice versa.

Whilst a contestant turns down a guy because her taste pitches at guys in their 20s, another lady is fascinated by the same guy because he’s chubby. Seven ladies indicate interest in this same guy, however, when asked to pick his favourite out of them, his choice turns him down, saying she doesn’t like short guys.

Two lucky couples find love at first sight but face a tough decision: Cash-out or Cash-big. Cash-out allows them to take instant cash prizes ranging from N10,000 to N250,000 via a lucky-dip; while Cash-big gives them a chance to compete for N5 million cash and N5 million worth of prizes if they emerge as the ultimate couple via the audience vote.

The couples hit it off instantly and decide to cash-big, meaning they will compete for the ultimate prize of N5 million cash and N5 million worth of prizes if they emerge the ultimate couple.

Hello Mr Right promises more excitement and entertainment in the next episodes, as more singles join the search for love and money. The show airs every Saturday on StarTimes’ Nollywood Plus at 8pm and Novela E channels at 7:50pm as well as StarTimes ON mobile app.
