The people of Zauro a community outskirts Birnin-Kebbi Local Government Area of Kebbi STate has secured 100 hectare of land for the extension of cemetery in the area.
Briefing journalists, on Tuesday, at the site of the proposed cemetery, the Kebbi State Chairman of APC Board of Trustees ( BOT), Alhaji Sani Zauro, who is also the community leader, described the new extension of the cemetery in their own home town as a way of fulfilling Gods obligation.
He commended the state government contribution towards the extension of the 100 hectare of land provided to their people in the area.
Said he, “Where they formerly burying dead people is full with the people ,so we decided to get another new one which people contribution.”
The AC BOT chair also participated in the construction of the fence around the new burial ground.
Zauro lauded the Kebbi State Government for delivery his campaign promises by provided the adequate needs to the good people of the state.
He stated this in his country home adding that Governor Atiku Bagudu had demonstrated a political well to the people so for that if he has intrest for the second term they have no choice than to support him.
“Atiku has fulfilled his political campaign promises to the good people of Kebbi State. He touched all the four emirate in terms of developmental projects.”
