‘I’m unfazed by ABS current form’

Makinwa

ABS coach, Henry Mackinwa has stated that his side’s blistering form so far does not affect his plan for the club in any way.

He stated this recently, adding that they will remain focused on their mission until their mission has been accomplished.

“We are not bothered or carried away with our current play and position on the table. We plan to take our matches in the league step by step.

We will be too ambitious if we think about finishing in the first four, but nothing is impossible.

ABS held on and hoped for  a point in Kano as Ernest Governor stood out for the Ilorin outfit in the defence, the team however caved in when Pillars’ super sub, Adamu Mohammed who came on for legendary forward Gambo Mohammed, volleyed into the net after an assist from midfield general, Rabiu Ali in the 93rd minute to hand Pillars all three points.

Makinwa however believes that inexperience caused them the defeat in Kano.

“The inexperience of my young team cost us a point in Kano.”
