Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) senatorial candidate for Oyo Central, and the party’s governorship candidate in Oyo State, Bimbo Adekanmbi, on Sunday attended the 37th year anniversary of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke Agbara, Oluwatedo District Headquarters, Ashi, Bodija, Ibadan, where they donated millions of Naira to the church’s ministry on behalf of the party.

The anniversary, held on November 1, 2026, brought together prominent church leaders, worshippers and political figures to celebrate the church’s history, spiritual heritage and commitment to Christian evangelism. The donation by the two APM candidates formed part of their participation in the anniversary, which also provided an opportunity for Ajadi to reconnect with a congregation he described as an important part of his spiritual journey.

Speaking during the celebration, Ajadi said he had been a longstanding member of Oke Agbara and had actively participated in its evangelical ministry during his early life. He recalled his involvement in the church’s evangelical activities, highlighting his longstanding relationship with the congregation and its spiritual leadership.

Ajadi’s remarks underscored his personal connection with the church, which was led by the late Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere, popularly known as Baba Olowere or Baba Automatic answer. The late cleric served as the General Overseer of CAC Oke Agbara and was widely associated with the church’s evangelistic mission.

The anniversary featured a sermon on the theme, “The Bible—God’s Message to His People,” delivered by Pastor Fajuyagbe, with scriptural references drawn from 2 Timothy 3:14–17. The passage highlights the importance of Scripture in teaching, correcting and guiding believers towards righteous living.

The District Superintendent of Oke Agbara Headquarters, Pastor J. O. Farayola, and Pastor Samuel Olowere offered prayers for the electoral success of Ajadi, Adekanmbi and other APM candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Among the prominent church leaders at the anniversary were Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji, CAC General Evangelist; Pastor Emmanuel Odejobi, General Superintendent; and Pastor S. O. Oladele, President of CAC Nigeria and Overseas.

Also in attendance were the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Oyedele Sanda, and the Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Dr. Kolapo Temitope Glorious, alongside other APM members and supporters.

The anniversary celebration brought together thanksgiving, biblical teaching and prayers, with worshippers reflecting on the legacy of the late Baba Olowere and the continuing spiritual mission of CAC Oke Agbara.
