The co-Founder and wife of the General Overseer of World Evangelism Bible Church Inc.(WEBIC), Prophetess Mercy Ayorinde, recently spoke on the Achievers Congress of the church coming up this month.
On the achievers’ Congress, she noted: “I got a passion for women’s challenges such as marital issues of fruit of the womb. Gradually, this passion led me to embark on 40 days only water fast, because I just want results. To the glory of God, I went into another 40 days,30 days, etc. Many answered prayers came with births of one baby, twins and triplets. One of the beneficiaries of a set of triplets is the incumbent National President of the Achieving Ladies, Deaconess Maureen Omokhiomon. Praying for ladies to have babies is the burden I have for women. I pray with them. WEBIC started as a church in 1995 while Achieving Ladies came into being in 1996. Initially it was called Winning Ladies. But a church had registered that name, so we had to change it. I thank God my ladies are loving, caring and responsible for the call.
She also spoke about the event. In her words, the congress, a global event when women assemble in the church’s world headquarters at Ojota, Lagos, holds every two years. “We will hold this year’s Congress from July 26th to 30th. There shall be morning and evening sessions. The theme is, “My Year of Melody” in line with the church’s, “My Year of Sweet Melody.” The event will kick off on July 26t to coincide with the ‘My Fruitful Moments’ programme which I handle every last Wednesday of the month.
“This year’s Congress has activities such as free medical services, Achievers Shiloh Hour, evangelism, social media exposure, Varieties Night (Vigil), drama presentation and symposium. There will be Bible Quiz competition among the branches. A gold cup awaits the winner. There are other gifts items that will improve their spiritual lives. Our youths as well as our Senior Citizens in the church (Abraham and Patience) will participate in the congress this year. On July 20th, the Achieving Ladies will go on evangelism while widows and the less privileged will pick free fairly used items on Samaritan Day after our Thanksgiving Service on July 30th. Guest Speakers are Prophetess Kemi Ishola of Jubilation University, Apaa-Bunu, Kabba, Kogi State and Pastor (Mrs.) Ngozi Achonwa from Dulos Ministries, Ibafo, Lagos State.
So, how do the Achievers’ Ladies operate? She explained: There are six units, and each has its own excos reporting to the National President, Omokhiomon. She coordinates all branches and organises events. She reports to me as the Spiritual Leader. The Achieving Ladies assist the church financially and spiritually.

God is always showing me fruits in my dreams. For instance, I was having prayer and fasting session with a lady. On the sixth day, God showed me a bucket full of Avocado. I relayed what I saw with the woman, advising her to start taking the fruit and with further prayers, and to the glory of God, she was pregnant and delivered a bouncing baby boy. That is why I complement ‘Operation Fruitfulness’ with ‘Fertility with Ease.’”
