Visually impaired singer, Christian Victor Eshiet aka Chrisvik, is over the moon with joy.

Reason: He has received his cash prize of N1 million from Akwa Ibom Talent Foundation Inc. for emerging winner in the maiden edition of Akwa Ibom Talent Show held recently in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The Akwa Ibom Talent Foundation through Akwa Ibom Talent Show has reiterated its resolve to empower talents in music, dance, instrumentation, creative artistry and acrobatics.

For Chrisvik to have emerged the overall winner amongst several other talents, it sure was a tough job for the panel of judges made up of ex-beauty queen and fashionista, Princess Hilda, pop/gospel singer, Mirobed David, Ekamma Henry and Nollywood movie director, Moses Eskor (DGN).

Apart from Chrisvik, who smiled home with a cash prize of N1 million, others like Elite Kings, a dance group that emerged 1st runner up and Jannie Jones, 2nd runner-up also carted away N500,000 and N300,000 respectively.

Bishop Jack, the talent hunt’s sponsor, operates a prophetic and deliverance ministry with extensive and Apostolic outreach, reconciling men back to God, training church workers, building men for ministry expansion, church planting, counseling, and organizing revival, seminars and crusades in Africa and United States of America.

“I am inspired by the calling to equip individuals to discover their potential, who they are and what they can do to help others in our community; and also walking men, women and youths through a new life,” he declared.

Chrisvik, an indigene of Afaha Atai in Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, is always a delight to listen to; his pleasant voice and dexterity on the drums and keyboard are other talents that stand him out. Little wonder he came out tops in the contest.

The student of Special Education Center, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State was discovered by comedian and Master of Ceremony, Jimmy D Young through his Xtra-Ability Talent Show for persons with disabilities.
