The energy of Magic Padel met the spirit of Guinness Nigeria as both brands recently brought high-profile guests together to celebrate a partnership built around sport, relaxation and social connection.

The event marked the unveiling of the Guinness-branded lounge at Magic Padel Court inside Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, bringing the iconic stout brand into one of the city’s fastest-growing sporting and social scenes.

The collaboration reflects Guinness Nigeria’s ambition to create experiences that extend beyond traditional consumption occasioned by connecting the brand with the passions; interests and ways of connecting that are shaping contemporary Nigerian life.

Speaking, Prof. Fabian Ajogwu (SAN), chairman, Board of Directors, Guinness Nigeria Plc, said the collaboration reflects Guinness’ ability to evolve while staying true to its heritage.

“Guinness Nigeria has always evolved with the times without losing sight of the heritage and values that make Guinness an iconic brand. Our partnership with Magic Padel is another expression of that philosophy. By bringing the Guinness experience into an emerging lifestyle space, we are creating opportunities for meaningful connection while supporting the growth of communities built around sport, wellness and social interaction,” he said.

Also commenting, Girish Sharma, Managing Director/CEO, Guinness Nigeria Plc, said the partnership demonstrates the company’s commitment to showing up in spaces that matter to consumers.

On her part, Maya Semaan, Operations Manager, Magic Padel, described the partnership as a natural fit between two brands with a shared focus on community and connection.

“For us at Magic Padel, the experience is a lot more than the game. It is about great people coming together to build a community and create great experiences. So, tonight is a great moment for us as we celebrate the partnership between Guinness and Magic Padel,” she stated.

Maya added that Guinness is a brand with such a strong identity, and the two brands share something in common – community and bringing people together.

“This partnership is not simply about a logo on the court or the lounge. It is about creating experiences and activating great entertainment and sports that bring people together.”

The partnership positions Guinness at the intersection of its distinctive heritage and the contemporary energy of Lagos’ growing Padel community.
