The founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Grace Nation group of companies Onuora Chibueze Paul, popularly known as Honorable ExKid, was seen recently in front of Osu Children’s Homes in Accra, Ghana, with items that included bags of rice, rolls of tissue paper, kegs of vegetable oil, cartons of Indomie noodles, packs of Viju milk, tins of Milo and Peak powder milk, two packets of cabin biscuits and other household items.

The Osu Children’s Home, located at 21 Ndabaningi Sithole Road, Accra, is one of the well-known orphanages in the West African country.

Honorable ExKid, CEO of both GraceNation Entertainment and Grace Nation Building Materials, said the picture wasn’t a photo-op but a verification of his visit to the famous orphan home to fulfil his commitment to helping the less privileged in society.

Responding to questions from his followers during an Instagram live chat, the alumnus of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, said: “I was surprised when the picture surfaced because I had kept my philanthropic tour on the low key. I embarked on the second phase of the tour in Ghana after I had concluded the first one in Nigeria.”

Saying that charity begins at home, Honorable Exkid avowed that he had done a similar thing in Nigeria across several orphanages before taking his altruism beyond the border of his native country.

“The human community is one big family. An act of kindness to the less privileged is service to humanity,” he stated.

The serial entrepreneur, a native of Ogbu Umueri in Anambra State, had previously called on profit-oriented companies to make philanthropy a part of their business concerns.

“It is important that businesses make orphans’ concerns a cornerstone of their corporate social responsibility, as that is one of the far-reaching means of helping the human family,” he reiterated.
