The organisers of Zulu Film Academy Awards (ZAFAA) have announced that this year’s edition of the award ceremony will hold on November 17, 2018 at Grace Point, Essex Road, London.
Speaking at a press briefing in Lagos recently, CEO, ZAFAA, Sam Alozie, noted that the ‘biggest African film award outside Africa’ is new and improved and has not compromised the quality and trust emphasis of the award process.
He revealed that Funke Akindele-Bello, the face of ZAFAA 2018, would co-host the event with ace comedian, MC Abbey. Past winners of ZAFAA were also unveiled. They include Fredrick Leonard, Best Actor for Woeman, Ini Edo, Lead Actress for While You Slept, Moses Inwang, Best Director while Frankie Ogah won two awards for Best Picture Editing and Screenplay for A Soldier’s Story.
