Lagos-based brand management and visual communications agency, Flip Visuals, has announced its expansion into Europe, the United States and Canada as part of its international growth strategy, seven years after commencing operations in Nigeria.
The expansion marks the company’s first major move beyond the Nigerian market since it was founded in 2019 and comes as the agency also launches a proprietary content division, broadening its operations beyond client services into original content creation.
Founded by Austine Nwaojei and Benny Motalem, Flip Visuals has evolved from a video production outfit into a full-service brand management agency offering branding, digital communications, visual storytelling and public relations solutions across multiple industries.
According to the company, the agency was born from the complementary strengths of its founders. While Nwaojei built experience in branding and visual production, Motalem developed expertise in copywriting in the United States. Their collaboration, initially on a series of client projects, laid the foundation for what has become Flip Visuals.
The company said the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated its transformation in 2020, prompting it to expand from video marketing into brand communication management, branding and design services as businesses increasingly embraced digital platforms.

Today, the agency provides end-to-end branding and communications services, guiding organisations from brand strategy and identity development to content creation and performance measurement.
Over the years, Flip Visuals has executed projects across sectors including maritime, oil and gas, hospitality, technology, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), non-governmental organisations and startups.
Among its notable projects, the agency led the rebranding of Sea Transport Group and its subsidiaries, including STAC Marine Offshore, developed multiple corporate websites, delivered brand videography for Quest Oil, managed public relations and digital campaigns for e-hailing startup Fastride, and produced a documentary series examining Nigeria’s informal trade ecosystem for Sabi.
Speaking on the company’s growth, Co-Founder and Creative Director, Austine Nwaojei, said strong brand presentation remains critical to business success.
“Presentation is everything. How you dress is how you will be addressed in the marketplace,” he said.
Also commenting, Co-Founder and Business Manager, Benny Motalem, said businesses with strong visual identities enjoy greater credibility among investors, customers and partners.
“We build visual identities that command immediate respect in the marketplace. When a brand looks world-class, it instantly eliminates friction with investors, clients and partners,” he said.
The company said its international expansion will enable it to provide branding, design and strategic communication services to businesses across Europe and North America, while its proprietary content initiative represents a significant milestone in its evolution from a service provider to a creator of original media content.
Flip Visuals said the twin initiatives underscore its ambition to strengthen its global footprint while continuing to help organisations build compelling brands through strategic storytelling and visual communication.
