Bush Doctor Studios revenge thriller “Anu” has bagged nominations in four different categories of awards under the 2026 Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival.
The film which was directed by Temitope Jude Egwu and co-directed by Wale Ilebiyi is set to premiere worldwide at the Festival, in September before it is released on selected streaming platforms for the audience.

The categories in which the film was nominated include Best Nollywood Film, Best African Drama, Best African Indigenous Film and Best First Feature Film, respectively.
Producer and director Temitope Jude Egwu expressed his gratitude towards actors, crew members, friends and family who contributed immensely to the production of “Anu”.
“Anu is the first African revenge thriller of its kind and I am excited for the world to see it.” He said.
