American singer Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have welcomed their first child together.
The 40-year-old “Bad Romance” singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, began dating Polansky in 2020 and became engaged to the entrepreneur in 2024.
Details about the baby, including the name, sex and date of birth, have not been disclosed.
The couple, however, were recently spotted with their newborn in Northern California, marking their first public outing as a family of three.
Gaga has spoken previously about her desire to become a mother. In a YouTube video from December 2019, she discussed her 10-year plan and said she hoped “babies” were part of that future.
“I want to do more movies, I want to have babies,” she said at the time.
In a March 2020 interview with InStyle, Gaga opened up again about her desire to start a family.
More recently, Gaga revealed her hope that motherhood would be her “next starring role.”
“I would like to do many things,” she said of her future plans during an October 2025 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “All of these things are open. But what I really want is to be a mom. That’s my next starring role, I hope.”
She wrapped up her most recent world tour, the Mayhem Ball, in April, and her latest album “Mayhem” garnered multiple Grammy nominations, winning the award for “Best Pop Vocal Album” earlier this year.
