It serves as a platform where women actively save, invest, learn financial management, and experience financial empowerment. In 2023, FinTribe women alone have saved and invested over $1 million”.
Reflecting on her background, Jennifer attributes her entrepreneurial spirit to her mother, a brilliant businesswoman. She acknowledges the pivotal moment that led her to become an entrepreneur, sharing, “A few years ago, as a Chartered Accountant, I was excelling at managing the company’s funds as the treasury accountant, but my personal finances were in disarray”
She continue, “I reached a point where I had had enough and made the decision to become more intentional with my finances. To hold myself accountable, I decided to share my journey with others on social media, and that’s when I realized that many women could relate to my story and were facing similar challenges. Gradually, we formed a community of over 100,000 women, where I stood as the Accountability Cheerleader.”
Under Jennifer’s guidance, FinTribe has undertaken several noteworthy projects. This includes empowering women to save and invest over one billion in just 11 months of 2023, hosting the largest Finance Fair for women in Nigeria, with a remarkable attendance of over 5,000 women, and organizing trips to three countries, providing unique opportunities for networking and learning.
