The Eze Ndigbo Mekong River, HRH Eze Jerome Uzochukwu Ezeneche has congratulated the new Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli by Kaduna State government as the 19th Emir of the emirate.
Untill his appointment, Ambassador Bamalli was immediate past Ambassador of Nigeria to Thailand and Myanmer.
In a statement made available to Daily Sun, Ezeneche described the new emir as a passionate and kind leader whose four years in Thailand brought peace and progress to Nigeria communities in the country.
Ezeneche recalled that before he was appointed Ambassador of Nigeria to Thailand, rate of crime was very high with about 1000 Nigerians in Thai prisons. He said with his kind and persuasive words, he was able to convince many Nigerians to abandon crime and become law abidding. “Today, Nigerian prisoners in Thailand has reduced to about 400,” he said.
While calling on other Nigeria public officials to emulate Bamalli’s sterling qualities, Ezeneche who is king of six natons in South east Asia which includes Thailand, says people of Zazzau and Kaduna stands to gain a lot from his wealth of experience.
While praying for God to give him wisdom like He gave King Solomon to rule his people, Ezeneche said he was proud to identify with the new emir.
