Grammy Award-winning songwriter and R&B artist Eric Bellinger hosted an exclusive listening party for his forthcoming album ‘It Will All Make Sense’ at the Angle Villa Hotel, Lagos.
The intimate event brought together fans, media professionals, and music industry insiders for a first listen to the artiste’s new body of work.
Bellinger, who has penned chart-topping hits for global stars such as Usher, Chris Brown, and Justin Bieber, treated guests to an evening of soulful melodies and heartfelt storytelling. The album, which blends his signature R&B sound with Afro-inspired rhythms, marks a creative evolution for the singer-songwriter.
A highlight of the night came when Bellinger premiered a remix featuring Nigerian superstar, Tiwa Savage, a collaboration that electrified the audience.
The project also features other Nigerian artistes, reflecting Bellinger’s admiration for the country’s dynamic and influential music scene.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the album, Bellinger described It Will All Make Sense as his most personal work to date. He cited the track “Lost and Found” as particularly meaningful, saying it captures his journey through life’s highs and lows.
“That song really tells my story. It’s about going through everything, the challenges, the victories and still find yourself again,” he stated.
When asked what he hopes listeners will take away from the project, the singer emphasized his desire to spread positivity through music.
“I hope people hear something different, something filled with love and joy,” he said. “There’s already so much negativity out there. My music is about light.”
Beyond music, Bellinger remains grounded by family life. Married for 10 years and a proud father of two, he credits the love and balance at home as the foundation of his creativity.
“In 10 years, I want people to remember me as the new blueprint,” he added.
