The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, on Tuesday, summoned a meeting with service chiefs and heads of various security and intelligence agencies in Abuja.

The meeting which was held at the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) was attended by the Chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force.

Others at the meeting include the Inspector General of Police, the Comptroller-General of Customs, the Directors-General of the Department of State Services, National Intelligence may not be unconnected with the ongoing nationwide protest already has the Chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force in attendance.

Also in attendance are the Controller General of Corrections, Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, and Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service.

Daily Sun, gathered that the meeting is among others deliberating on the nationwide #Endbadgovernance hunger protests, which have turned violent with some demonstrators calling for regime change in some parts of the country.

Most worrisome is the display of the Russian flags by protesters which the CDS, has described as treasonable.
